It's a paid fucking feature.

You know what, though? I really, really would have considered buying another subscription (I've had them before) but as time goes on deviantART proves time and time again they don't give a shit what their customers- or potential customers- want. If it's not botched contests wherein they blithely change the rules as they please (and half the time the contests are nothing but a ruse to acquire unpaid specwork from entrants who don't even wind up winning anything)it's not only enacting a policy that the VAST majority of the community disagrees with, but really does pose copyright issues, whether their "really cool" lawyer told them to or not.

Disagree with their policy? Well, you are just ignorant, unentitled to an opinion, and possibly an alcoholic (as was inferred in one of chix0rs' journals).

I have signed up for an account at storm-artists. It's obviously not as advanced as dA yet, but I'd love to again be part of a community not focused on DRAMA or MONEY but on COMMUNITY and ART.
